The City Shed proposes a series of saw-toothed shed structures embedded in a steep hill
as a means to create a multi-purpose urban sports facility, recreation center, and community space.
The relationship between landscape and structure positions earth as a primary spatial actor,
creating three distinct conditions: spaces that are fully immersed within the earth,
cut into the earth but exposed to the air, and on top of the landscape and fully exposed to the sky above.
These conditions provide a variety of experiences for the inhabitant, from enclosure to spectatorship.
